The cmsDriver app is part of the larger Smart LPG Services (SLS) System created by IoT Network Pte Ltd for the downstream bottled LPG distribution business. The SLS System leverages on the internet-of-things digital technology in providing real-time remote asset sensing capabilities to provide greater transparency and visibility to the distribution management, thereby enhancing service level and satisfaction to end-users.
Instead of the traditional practice of relying on phone calls through intermediaries, the app simplifies the communication channels by putting the requisite supply information directly in the hands of delivery personnel so that they are aware of the supply status at the customer end, the inventory they have at hand and be able to plan for the most efficient routing to replenish supplies for customers. They are also being apprised through the app the account status of customers in order to prioritize their service.
