I have been using this app for a long time. Suddenly, after the last update, it will not stay open. Completely unusable, all data still there but inaccessible. Still no response from developer. Very disappointing. Update: Response here and from e-mailing developer was the same: Update the app. There is no option to update this app on Google Play because the latest update already occurred on 04 October, 2024. The app was working prior to the update.

After using Notepad successfully for two years, today I can not get into it and installing the "new" version does not allow me to access all the info and data I have saved . Plus, this app does want to much information. Denying access to send notifications allows me to do nothing. This is just a notepad. I put my grocery and pharmacy lists, phone numbers of places I have gone, etc. In conclusion, I have lost tons of information with no way to get it back. I can't manage any tasks .😢

As of the latest 8/2024 update, Notepad fails to open to the data entry screen. It reloads the main splash screen repeatedly. Can't use the app, and all of our stored data is being held hostage. We contacted the Swedish app company for support, but they are not responding. UPDATE: As of 9/4/2024, a public update to the notepad app seems to have corrected the problem. I have still not heard directly from the app company in response to my request for support
