Break the ice. Rescue the gems.
Floating Ice is a block puzzle game that runs upside down. Your pieces fly UP into a sheet of ice hanging above you. Fill a row and it melts away. Ice that loses its hold breaks loose and floats to the ceiling.
Frozen inside that ice are gems. Collect every gem before you run out of moves.
HOW TO PLAY
- Drag a piece, slide it to a column, let go
- Fill a whole row and it melts
- Any gem sitting in that row is yours
- Collect every gem on the board to beat the level
500 LEVELS, EVERY ONE SOLVED FIRST
A solver plays each level before it ships, so there is always a way through. Finding it is your job. Every tenth level from level 20 is a challenge level with a tighter move limit and double the reward.
NEW BLOCKS AS YOU GO
- Ice block: plain filler, one row clear melts it
- Blast gem: collect it and it bursts in a 3x3
- Hard gem: takes two row clears, the first one only cracks it
- Frost core: each drop that clears no row lets it harden the ice beside it
- Packed ice: takes three row clears to break
- Flash gem: a bolt clears its whole column
- Air pocket: nothing sticks to it, so ice held up only by air breaks loose
- Warm spot: on your side, it thaws a stubborn block next to it
- Drip gem: slips down one row every time you clear one
- Thin ice: your pieces fly straight through it and shatter it
- Shard gem: collect it and your next piece is a single block
- Icicle: after every drop it grows into the empty cell below, up to 3 times
- Echo gem: takes two row clears, or clear 2 rows in one drop to free it at once
Every block you meet is recorded in Discovery, with its rule and the level where you first saw it. Fourteen to find.

- Stuck? Wait a moment and a hand shows you a good move
- Swap the piece in your tray for a different one
- Undo your last drop
- Spend gold on 5 extra moves when you run out
