Welcome to Scannecto (“App”), operated by Alphalinx Consultancy Sdn Bhd (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Scannecto. By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
The App is provided for personal and business use.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App.
You agree to use the App only in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account using your email address or a third-party login (e.g., Google).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Features
The App allows scanning of QR codes, barcodes, and documents.
Scanned data can be stored locally on your device or in your connected Google Drive account.
You are responsible for managing and securing your stored data.
The App may display third-party advertisements via Google AdMob.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Scannecto offers free basic use with optional subscription plans (monthly or yearly).
Subscription details, pricing, and terms will be displayed before purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
All payments are processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not store or process payment data.
5. User Content and Responsibility
You retain ownership of all scanned materials.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan, store, and share any documents or codes.
You agree not to use the App to scan or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, its content, features, and branding are owned by Alphalinx Consultancy Sdn Bhd.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
7. Privacy
Our collection and use of data are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Third-Party Services
The App may include third-party content, advertisements, or links (e.g., Google AdMob, Google Drive).
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or policies of third parties.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or legality of any scanned content.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alphalinx Consultancy Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
