The Essence is a relationship analysis app built on one idea: the text isn't the product, it's the honesty.
How it Works
Each person opens a private session and writes—independently—about their true feelings.
No one reads what you write; not us, not your partner, and what you write is never shown to the other person.
Artificial intelligence reads both texts together and returns a single, clear result about the state of your relationship—one of six possible outcomes.
Once the result is shown, both texts are permanently deleted.
Privacy is at the Heart of the Design
What you write is encrypted as soon as it reaches our servers and deleted as soon as the analysis is complete.
Your text is not sent to your partner's device or shared with anyone else.
Copy, paste, and screenshot features are disabled while you're writing, so your words remain yours alone.
