Ratings and reviews

Why is there no way to select or streamline the notifications. Notification Settings takes you to the phone settings to turn notifications on or off. There's is no way to reduce the breaking news notifications and every notification they send is not Breaking News. it's just a way for the app to remind you that it's there. I will keep searching and uninstall this one

Used to be great...then it got slow...then you needed to subscribe to access all the content...I subscribed...App got even slower...and even though I subscribed it constantly prompts me to subscribe...I cancelled my subscription but I am stuck with it until it expires...maybe it gets better by then...I will be looking for something else... .

Since I don't get radio or TV news, I rely on the NBC app for news. It was fine until they started charging for some of it. It is aggravating to click on an article and find it's being withheld from me unless I'm willing to pay for it. Also, the overuse of AI has really degraded the quality of writing, sometimes creating confusing and incorrect comments. I think news should be free and proofed by an educated human before it's posted. I also find your ad popups on par with cheap online games.
