This is by far the worts app I have on my phone. Putting a side the enormous amount of ad content and ads in the app, every time you open it, it opens all the new articles you didn't read. Why? Well, my guess is that they get to charge for ads on those pages, even if you did not intended to read it. In addition, It occasionally drains my battery (when not in use), and the UI is pretty bad, lagging during scrolling and sometimes even bouncing back! Overall, really bad experience.

The app is not allowing opening articals and keeps crashing. Update: the new app is working well.
