About this app

Dash Cam Viewer connects to your Wi-Fi dashcam and turns your phone into a full control screen - watch the road live, review what you recorded, and copy clips to your phone without pulling out the SD card.

Works with popular Novatek-based car dashcams that broadcast their own Wi-Fi network (default 192.168.1.254).

FEATURES
- Live view - stream the camera feed in real time over Wi-Fi
- Start/stop recording straight from your phone
- Browse recordings - videos, photos and event (locked) clips in tidy tabs
- Play back clips full-screen right in the app
- Download clips to your phone, or export them anywhere with the system share sheet
- Recent cameras with preview thumbnails for one-tap reconnect
- Clean, modern Material You interface
- 5 languages: English, Francais, Espanol, Chinese, Arabic

HOW IT WORKS
1. Power on your dashcam and join its Wi-Fi network from your phone settings.
2. Open Dash Cam Viewer and tap Connect DVR - the app finds the camera automatically.
3. View live, manage recordings, or adjust camera settings.

NOTES
- This is an independent viewer app. It is not affiliated with any camera brand.
- A compatible Novatek Wi-Fi dashcam is required. The app talks to the camera in plain text on its private Wi-Fi network only - no camera data leaves that local link.
- Dashcams cannot record and stream at the same time reliably, so recording is controlled explicitly from the Live View screen.
