Sustainability Criteria
What's genuinely sustainable today and what's just greenwashing?
Future Maps includes specific criteria for each place on the map, highlighting what makes them sustainability pioneers. Is a business value-oriented or profit-driven? Are the offers made with vegan products? Is green energy part of their strategy? Does a company support social causes such as integration? We assess not only the product but also the entity behind it.

Our ambition is to showcase all sustainable places in Europe! Are you onboard? Let’s start with gastronomy. Easily add restaurants and coffee places in your area to Future Maps. You will be supporting other community members in discovering sustainable choices in their daily lives - and contributing to the sustainable transformation of your city.

Future Maps is not about the profits, it’s all about the cause - and the project is owned by its community. We're organized as a cooperative to maintain long-term independence and to make collective decisions. Pretty cool, huh?
