What is it?
Orto 2.0 is an application that allows you to manage and monitor the cultivation of a 50-square-meter vegetable garden located within a green space on the outskirts of a major city.
The first production site is located within the Tor Vergata Botanical Garden in Rome and hosts the first 132 vegetable gardens. The cultivation of the plots is entrusted to the Orto 2.0 team, allowing each user to visit and participate in the production process, like an open-air gym where they can learn the secrets of nature.
How does it work?
1. Purchase and compose your plot with the vegetables of your choice. An algorithm will guide you in positioning the plants in the best way according to the rules of companion planting.
2. Follow the growth of your plants through a notification system and a dedicated webcam*.
3. Participate in the production process by visiting your plot and receiving training from the Orto 2.0 team on how to cultivate your vegetables.
4 Collect in person or receive the products comfortably at home. Enjoy them
