The CR-CAFE is the result of an effort made by the Coffee Institute of Costa Rica to create a tool that provides direct support to the National Coffee Sector. This tool seeks users to recognize and characterize producers, farms, and lots in all regions of the country. The users will be producers belonging to the ICAFE Coffee List and Technicians from different companies and institutions who will be able to carry out harvest estimates, disease monitoring, agrochemical dosage estimates, and Technical Visit sheets. The information collected will be essential for the decision-making of the different actors in the coffee value chain, thus ensuring a more sustainable, profitable and strengthened production over time.
