Nebraska 511 is the Nebraska Department of Transportation's (NDOT) official traffic and traveler information resource. The Nebraska 511 app provides statewide, real-time traffic information for interstates, U.S. routes, and state highways in Nebraska, including:

- Hand-free, eyes-free audio notifications of traffic events while you drive
- Closures, crashes, and roadwork
- Winter road conditions
- Traffic speeds
- Roadside camera images
- Plow tracker
- Commercial vehicle restrictions
- Waze events
- Personalized account features and SMS/email alerts

Ratings and reviews

This is a great app and it's incredibly useful to see if it is safe to travel, however, there is a strange bug. If you give the app location permissions, it will lock up on launch, becoming completely unresponsive. However, if you don't give it location permissions, the app works just fine, you just can't see where you are on the map. Please fix this!

Great, but in winter need cameras and milepost on the same page or screen this would be extremely helpful. The fixed camera and the mobile camera might not show the same section of roadway, we might have dry payment and 30 feet a huge drift.

Why is there a 2 on every camera icon? You have to zoom way in just to see the actual camera so you can select it. If I want to look at multiple cams I have to zoom way in and then back out and then in again, it is a pain. It does seem like the cams actually work more now though than before when they were constantly unavailable.
