About this app

Using a simple web-based interface, businesses can design custom forms using simple drag and drop methodology which are pushed out to the iCollect app on a mobile device. These forms can be configured to capture any data your business requires. This can be achieved by the employee scanning a Near Field Communication (NFC) card or fob, taking photos, scanning barcodes or manually inputting data to the form itself.

At it’s most simple level, iCollect can provide employees with a simple interface to clock in/out, start or end breaks and change jobs or activity and then push this data to an iTime Time & Attendance solution.

The real strengths of Collect however lie in its flexibility to be configured to match your business needs. This configurability allows you to build forms, push them to users and have them use our API to interface with existing IT systems – effectively enabling legacy solutions to be accessed and updated using a modern, mobile device.

Usage Scenarios:

Security
As part of his routine patrol a security guard scans NFC tags installed along his route. These tags identify his location and prompt him for action, he can report any incidents and if appropriate attach photographic evidence before returning to his usual, predefined patrol. All the data captured is sent back via iCollect and is accessible in real time in the Security Office

Agriculture
A supervisor is assigned an NFC enabled smart phone, all employees in her team are assigned a proximity card or fob. As the employees arrive/leave work, or start/end a break they report to their supervisor who, using their phone can scan the employees card or fob, clocking them in or assigned them to specific activities.
This information is then sent back via the phone’s network and is accessible in the management offices in real-time.

Domiciliary Care
A carer arrives at a patients house, the patient has been given a proximity tag or barcode which is presented to the carer. This tag or barcode is then captured using the carer’s smart phone along with the time of arrival, any relevant patent specific information, such as allergies or special requirements can also be displayed. Upon leaving the patient the carer will scan the barcode or tag and make any required notes — all using the iCollect app.
This data is then relayed to the carer’s head office, keeping a record of time spent with patients, arrival and leaving times and any pertinent care notes which can be referred to again at any time.

On Site Engineers/Service Personnel
Using iCollect, engineers can log time of arrival, capture product serial numbers and details of work carried out at client sites. This data can be interrogated from the dispatch office and used to maintain a log of work carried out, highlight intermittent hardware faults or invoice clients based on time on site.

You will need an iCollect account to use this app- please contact us to sign up.
