About this app

Unofficial app for controlling RECUAIR DC40 heat recovery units.

The app works only on a local Wi-Fi network.
Your phone/tablet and the units must be connected to the same network.
No account is required.

The app also supports Wear OS watches, which communicate with the units through the phone.

The app lets you:
• see the status of all units at once and control them in bulk
• view CO₂, temperature, humidity, ventilation power and filter status
• switch between automatic, manual, bypass and holiday modes
• adjust manual ventilation and ambient lighting
• rename units, choose room icons and change their order
• customize outside-temperature cards

No account is required, and the app does not send unit data, settings or diagnostics to the developer or to a cloud service operated by the developer.
Live data requires a compatible unit and a Wi-Fi network that allows direct communication between the phone and the unit.
You can explore the interface in DEMO mode even without a discovered unit.

Guest networks, client isolation or some router settings may prevent discovery and direct communication.

This independent third-party app is not affiliated with the manufacturer of these units or with their official app, and is not approved or supported by either.
