The popular scientific research project Czech Heritage in Transcarpathia, created with the support of the Kralovograd Region, became an organic continuation of the project Czech Heritage in Uzhhorod, which took place in the first half of 2021.
The Czech Center in Kyiv consistently describes and popularizes the cultural heritage related to the Czech Republic among Ukrainians and Czechs. Most of such sights can be found, of course, in Transcarpathia — and the team of the Czech Center strives to tell about them to everyone who may be interested: tourists, local residents, researchers from other regions.
In this part of the project, a team of researchers surveyed in expeditions and described in detail on the basis of archival data ten objects located throughout the territory of Transcarpathia. Some of them have been recently restored, some, unfortunately, have been rebuilt to an unrecognizable state; some have been preserved almost completely. All project materials are translated into Czech and English.
