Driver Card Bridge lets you read a tachograph driver card on your Android device.
Plug a USB smart-card reader into your device, open tachograph.online in your browser, and download the card there.
Browsers cannot talk to a smart-card reader on their own. This app does it for them: it drives the reader over USB and serves it to the website on a local connection that never leaves the device.
HOW TO USE IT
1. Plug a USB CCID card reader into your device, through a USB-OTG adapter if the reader has a full-size USB plug.
2. Allow the app to use the reader. From then on the bridge starts by itself whenever that reader is connected.
3. Insert the driver card and open tachograph.online in your browser on the same device.
4. Start the download on the site. Unplugging the reader stops the bridge.
WHAT YOU NEED
• A USB CCID smart-card reader (most consumer readers are CCID)
• A USB-OTG adapter, unless the reader plugs into the device directly
• Android 8.0 or newer, with USB Host support
Driver Card Bridge is a companion to tachograph.online. It does nothing on its own.
Connects a USB card reader to tachograph.online in your device's browser.
