About this app

Tutor is an AI tutoring partner for elementary school children. It explains the material
step by step, writes and draws on a shared board, and speaks to the child out loud —
like tutoring, only available at any time.

Tutor does not replace live teaching or a tutor. It is a practice between lessons,
when the child has no one to review the material with.

SUBJECTS

• Mathematics — the entire range of elementary school, from counting to equations and geometry
• New in BETA version: Czech, English, physics, chemistry, natural history and German
• In English and German, the child can speak both languages ​​at the same time — the Tutor
will understand, follow up and correct mistakes kindly
• Pronunciation training with scores for individual words

PREPARATION FOR ENTRANCE EXAMS

• Unified entrance exams (CERMAT) in mathematics
• For 9th grade (four-year secondary schools and grammar schools), 7th grade (six-year grammar schools)
and 5th grade (eight-year grammar schools)
• Procedures in the style of official CERMAT solutions, training by task types
and mock test
• Step by step, without stress and exam fear

HOW TO LEARN WITH THE TUTOR

• Speaking: the child holds the microphone and speaks or writes — as he/she sees fit
• Photo of the assignment: take a photo of the assignment from the notebook and Doučík will take it over
• Shared board: Doučík writes and draws (compass, ruler, protractor),
the child draws and calculates next to him/her
• Guides the child to their own solution — does not immediately tell the result

FOR PARENTS

• Parent overview: what the child practiced and how well they did
• The account is created and managed by the parent, the child logs in with their own access
• You set the weekly lesson limits
• At the start, the family gets free lessons to try

SAFETY AND PRIVACY

• The app is intended for children under the supervision of a parent — the parent creates the account
and gives consent to the processing of data
• Doučík sticks to the topic: it is a tutoring partner, not a general chatbot
• An inappropriate answer can be reported directly from the conversation with one tap
• No ads
