The app retrieves the product barcode and determines if the product contains palm oil. If so, you can see alternatives to palm oil-free products. The application will not only make it easier for you to choose an environmentally friendly and healthier product, but will also give the manufacturer another reason to drop palm oil. disappointed as scanned my toiletries and non are on data base dispite being very well known brands. this app is a good idea just wish it worked more efficiently. my eyesight is poor so having a scanner would be good to check ingredients as I can't see the list on products very well.

This is a rubbish app! Half of the things I use is registered on the app and when they are, if it does contain palm oil, the app doesn't tell you whether it contains sustainable or unsustainable palm oil. I use products from a company that contains sustainable palm oil and is registered with RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil), but does not show up on here. Even if it did, this app would just tell me that it contains palm oil - nothing about sustainability! Please update your app pronto to contain information about different companies and their products, and to reflect which companies and products use sustainable palm oil and which don't.

Brilliant app for reducing my use of Palm oil for every day food. Dead easy to use, although some of the alternative products are not always appropriate (ie scanned wraps, alternative product was crumpets😅)
