The only problem I have is that if you really want to use an app there's nothing stopping you because you can just open up App block and disable it. I understand that if you really need to use an app they want you to be able to access them if necessary. But it would be nice if there was no way possible to enter apps you've blocked during the time period you wish not to be distracted. Otherwise a great initiative.
When we block an app using this, it opens and says that this app is blocked. And doesn't let us access that app. THAT IS FINE. But there is a loophole. While showing the warning it actually opens up another window. So there are actually 2 windows, the original blocked app and this one. I can easily see the 2 separate windows in app switcher and drag the original app to multitasking which gives me full access even with this app running. So..This app doesn't block anymore, does it?
This app works as expected. The scheduler is working perfectly and the apps I want are blocked. My only thought would be to make the ""Known issues" in the app settings more clear for the first time a user installs the app. It did not work until I activated the setting there.
It does exactly what I need it to do and bring able to customize the times means I can still play online during my lunch break but I'm not distracted the rest of the day.
Does what it says it will, I paid the 95p for unlimited apps to block I find it useful when studying as i can block social media apps for long periods of time. Very useful for people who struggle with concentration 😊
Would be even better if you could individually choose apps and what times they are blocked rather than groups of apps. A great app though.
