About this app

Learn to play traditional Irish tunes in a natural and effective way!

Each tune is split into phrases and bars. The application walks you through them step by step. You listen to, play along and repeat each phrase in selected tempo until you feel comfortable playing it, then move to the next one. You can select from 4 predefined tempos, from the slowest to the fastest.

Application contains over 100 of the most famous and popular traditional Irish tunes - reels, jigs, slip jigs, slides, hornpipes and polkas. Each tune contains both sheet music and ABC notation. Doesn't matter whether you are tin whistle or fiddle player, this app is made to be useful for everyone.

The app also keeps progress of your learned tunes, so you will never forget the tunes you have learned.

I loved this app, I really did, but I just got a new phone and its asking me to pay for the full app again. I learned a lot of tunes with this app and wanted to continue, but I don't want to pay for something I already paid for. Also a lack of tune updates makes it hard to justify buying again, and the ability to add songs would be a nice feature. Great app, but not worth buying each time you get a new phone.

Fantastic app.couldnt rate it highly enough.has so many tunes and with variable speed, learning tunes part(where it breaks songs into small sections and loops them) and notes it makes it possible for anyone to learn the tunes it's a pity it's not available on the Apple store as I work with a school trad group and I would have every one of them use the app if it was. I also know a lot of people who are interested in the app but have Apple phones and therefore can't use it.

Really great app to learn to play the whistle. It would be even better if in landscape mode there was the possibility of a full screen to display music. In portrait mode the score is very small but in landscape too much screen space is taken up with the header and footer.
