About this game

This series of dictation & letter exercises follow the reading method Safe Learning to Read from Zwijsen publishers (a widely used reading method in Belgium and the Netherlands). These 10 sets of 15 mmkm & mkmm words each (150 words together) can be made from AVI level 3. First click on the small speaker and listen to the word. Then drag the letters to the correct boxes. DO NOT DRAG super fast!!! (some tablets work a bit slower due to the large amount of data). If you make a mistake, you will hear the word pronounced with individual letters. Improve. Students of 1st grade/group 3 see the sounds 'aa, au, ee, eu, ie, ij, oo, oe, ou, uu, ui' as 1 letter!!! After each series of 15 words, the readers can solve a puzzle of 12 pieces as a reward. I made these exercises based on my 25 years of experience as a 1st grade teacher. Lots of auditory and visual support. Headphones make the sound even better.
