"Celestial equator" is a free and easy to use 3D planetarium.
It provides an accurate graphical simulation for many space objects such as stars, constellations, Sun, Moon, primary planets of our solar system, etc.
The virtual planetarium includes such features as photo-realistic horizon panorama, large star catalog (55000 stars to +8.2 magnitude), deep-sky objects, various zoom levels for star map, virtual compass and GPS support.

"Celestial equator" allows to adjust the star map view;
to turn on/off the names for the space objects ( constellations, stars, planets );
to turn on/off the constellation lines, azimuthal grid, equatorial grid, Earth surface,
,images of the astronomy atlas, etc.
You can change local true solar time settings for selected coordinates.
Celestial Equator will help you to identify star sky constellations, Sun and Moon positions, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, etc.
