With Datainfo Mobile Meter Readings, you can easily read or replace remote and mechanical meters. When reading meters, you automatically gain access to consumption data, as well as alarms or information codes and other irregularities in the distribution network.
Simply drive through the supply area with your Android smartphone or tablet and a small converter unit for remote Kamstrup water meter readings. The reading takes place intuitively in the application and automatically during the passage. You can view all consumption points and meters on the map. While driving, the map automatically displays nearby meters and information on which meters are being read and which still need to be read.
For manually read meters, the application will design the expected value according to the previous consumption and simply adjust the meter. It also warns you if the entered value deviates significantly from the average, thus minimizing the risk of an incorrectly entered value.
Through the application, it is also possible to solve the exchange of water meters and let the ZIS Datainfo system know about their exchange.
How does it all work?
In the ZIS Datainfo system, you prepare a file with a list of consumption points for reading and send it to the server. We call this file a batch.
The reader then connects the phone or tablet anywhere to WiFi and downloads the latest data to it. The application also works offline, so no constant connection is required.
The worker chooses the appropriate dose with which he wants to work and gets into the list of sampling points to be read. The list can, of course, be sorted and filtered differently (according to streets, descriptive numbers, names) and the different colors in the list show the status of the sampling point (read, unread, remote reading, etc.).
However, for most users, it is more convenient to view the subscription points on the map, and then to orient themselves according to it. Different colored dots show the reading status at the sampling point.
If you click on a point, you will see basic information about the collection point. Another click takes you directly to entering the status at the point of consumption.
When everything, or even just a part, has already been deducted, you can upload the read data to the main ZIS Datainfo system at any time and the accountant will start invoicing very easily.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The application does not function independently without connection to ZIS Datainfo.
