About this app

2P Primar is an app for grades 1-4 with screenings, exercises and learning checks in German, mathematics and German as a second language to train basic skills.

• Direct linking of screenings (to determine the need for support in the class) and individual exercises
• Learning checks to ensure learning success
• Tasks in German for reading and listening
• Examples of content: Precursor skills (phonological awareness, early written knowledge), reading (reading accuracy, reading comprehension, reading fluency), listening (comprehensive listening)
• Mathematics tasks primarily on numbers and operations (arithmetic skills)
• Examples of content: preliminary skills (forming series, space-position relationship, ...), number understanding (number recording and number representation in the number range up to 10/up to 20/up to 100, ordering and comparing numbers, part-whole relationship, ...), operational understanding ( Basic idea of ​​addition, basic idea of ​​subtraction, ...), equations (basic idea of ​​equation, terms and equations ...), arithmetic and calculation strategies (doubling and halving, analogies, transition to tens - step-by-step calculation, ...)
• Tasks in German as a second language in listening comprehension and reading comprehension at the basic level (A1), basic level (A2) and advanced level (A2 Plus)

The app can only be used as part of access to the 2P Primary procedure.

2P Primar was developed by MTO Psychological Research and Consulting GmbH in collaboration with Gentle Troll Entertainment GmbH and artif GmbH & Co. KG. The clients are the federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Baden-Württemberg, Schleswig-Holstein and Berlin.
