About this app

You know the winter jackets are in one of the boxes in the basement. But which one?

AllesAmPlatz is an inventory for everything that disappears into boxes: basement, attic, garage, storage room, moving house. Create a box, stick a label with a QR code on it, and photograph the items. When searching, you type in what you need and get the complete storage location: "Basement › Shelf on the left › Box K-07".

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
No account, no registration, no provider server, no advertising, no tracking. The app doesn't need internet to work. Your photos are stored in your phone's private app storage. Inventory data is only transferred for synchronization if you manually enable Plus Cloud synchronization (details below).

PRINTABLE QR LABELS
Each box gets a QR code and a short text code. Print labels using the standard Android print dialog—on label sheets (e.g., Avery 70x36 mm), on continuous tape from a label printer, or as a PDF for transfer to your PC. You can even print in batches: all boxes at once as a single PDF.

CAPTURE WITHOUT TYPING
Take a photo, and you're done. Image recognition runs entirely on your device and suggests names and keywords—no image ever leaves your phone for recognition. On supported devices, you can switch to more advanced recognition. You can add your own keywords at any time; the app will then search for them.

In batch mode, the target box remains selected: take a photo, save, and move on to the next item.

ORGANIZATION WITH STRUCTURE
Locations and sub-locations (basement › shelf on the left), numbered so that the labels in the actual room match the app. Boxes are located in one place, items in one box.

SEARCH THAT FINDS
Full-text search by name, notes, and keywords. Every hit shows the complete path—you not only know you have it, but also where.

BACKUP IN YOUR HAND
With the touch of a button, the database and all photos are written as a ZIP file to wherever you want: Downloads, USB drive, your own cloud folder. Restoring is just as easy. No subscription, no third-party infrastructure.

All basic functions are free and permanently usable: unlimited boxes and items, search, QR labels, backup. No subscription, no ads.

A one-time fee of €7.99 unlocks the following additional features (Plus):

- Synchronization across multiple devices — directly from device to device, even without an internet connection
- Cloud synchronization for the family: Changes are reflected on all devices in seconds

- Advanced image recognition with a local AI model for more detailed descriptions

Cloud synchronization is optional and can be disabled at any time. Inventory data and small preview images are synchronized end-to-end encrypted via Google Firebase (servers in Europe) — no one except your devices can read them; original photos remain on your device. Permissions: Camera access for photos and QR code scanning. Internet access for the optional download of a recognition model and Plus cloud synchronization. Bluetooth and nearby Wi-Fi are required only for Plus device synchronization — on Android 11 and earlier, the system also requires location access; your location is neither saved nor transmitted.
