The FAI Connect App powered by Comet puts all of the excitement of Irish football in the palm of your hand. Stay up-to-date with fixtures, results, standings, team line-ups, squads, stats and much more for every club and competition in Ireland. Track your favourite teams, players or leagues so you never miss a moment – whether it’s an injury-time winner, a penalty shoot-out or the final whistle you’re always close to the action.

Ratings and reviews

Clunky UI, no ability to hide league from other counties / regions. U10 leagues from the other side of the country shouldn't be on default view the app opens to. Very spotty in terms of leagues who are actually using FAI Connect to updates scores. Clicking on a player in a match timeline should open their profile page, not play a stupid animation and annoying whistle sound. Only making the information in the the database available on mobile is an accessibly issue.

A welcome addition for grassroots supporters. One easy improvement to user experience could be made. For teams or leagues followed, these should auto sort/default to the top of the list of fixtures when a logged in user is viewing, so you don't have to scroll to find them on a long list of fixtures. Livescore app has a range of other personalisation features that can be readily replicated. All these are mostly UI/UX fixes, as the database structure is in place already

Great idea, but it is hard to search teams. Frustrating. I've been trying to add a team to my favourites that don't have a match over next week, and it will not come up. Perhaps make a main page where we can go to each LOI Club, Development, or Senior and search a club. Poor and amateur work from such a big body. It's the same with their SFAI page.
