When help is needed, every minute counts.
HelperNetwork connects spontaneous volunteers with organized disaster relief teams as quickly as possible. No searching through phone lists, no unclear messenger groups, no guessing who's coming. Just a clear, fast process.
Here's how it works:
Download the app, register, and optionally add your qualifications. For example, medical training, specific driver's license classes, or other relevant skills. This takes just a few minutes and is voluntary.
When a call comes in, you'll receive a push notification directly on your phone. You'll immediately see what it's about, where you're needed, and when. With a tap, you can accept.
For short-notice calls, you'll see as soon as enough volunteers have confirmed. You'll get immediate feedback on whether you're needed or not. No uncertainty, no waiting.
HelperNetwork is available to both sides. Volunteers register, list their skills, and respond to requests. The operations center sees all volunteers, filters them by qualifications and availability, and sends out targeted requests. Both the ASB (Workers' Samaritan Federation) and the Ennepe-Ruhr district can plan and commission deployments.
The goal is simple: to get the right people to the right place as quickly as possible.
