About this app

astendo Event is an app for customers of astendo GmbH who use the astendo eventManager. For years, astendo has successfully supported numerous customers with the eventManager in the entire event management process – from planning and online participant management to on-site accreditation. The event app now allows participants and guests mobile access to event information, complementing our customers' event services. It is available for both iOS and Android.

Specifically, the app offers the following features for event participants:

- Mobile access to important event information (name, date, logo, location) and an event overview

- Content can be configured by the event organizer in the eventManager, allowing them to determine which website content is displayed in the app.

- Ticket with booking number, name, and QR code for participants

- Notifications from organizers, such as venue changes and cancellations

- Live chat between organizers and participants facilitates communication before and after events and allows for quick updates

- Self-check-in: Participants can check themselves in to the event, reducing their waiting time on-site

astendo Event is available in German, English, and French

What’s new

• Add support to French language.
• Several small improvements such as: disable events in non "active" status, provide better feedback to user actions, hide event’s language if there are no available translations, improve UI when changing device’s display and font size.
• Several bug fixes such as: fix notifications and notifications’ symbol, fix bug when self checking-in without a code.
