Your data is stored exclusively on the Barmenia servers in Germany and is additionally encrypted in the app.

In the app you can log in with the known access data from the customer portal "Meine Barmenia" or the old "RechnungsApp". A new registration is not necessary.

Don't have access yet? Then register directly in the app. Identification with our partner Nect succeeds within a few minutes. Alternatively, you can request the access data by post.

Ratings and reviews

Called them to ask whether or not an incident is covered. They confirmed, that everything is covered, so I had the item repaired at a workshop to get a receipt (otherwise I would have repaired it myself). When I sent the receipt, all the sudden they changed their mind and are no longer willing to reimburse the expense. Cannot recommend. DON'T CHOSE THIS INSURANCE, GET ANOTHER ONE THAT'S HONEST AND RELIABLE.

Horrible experience, do not try to register with Nect, it will get you stuck in a loop after you successfully do your selfie, it is infuriating and frustrating. The only other option is a back and forth of emails that is incredibly tedious. Absolut disaster.

I don't speak deutsch very well, but I'm living in Deutschland. There is no option within the app to change language. This makes the process very difficult for me. Theoretically, the app and general idea for submitting claims is good, and it probably works well for native speakers
