About this app
The Schönefeld App is an information and service offer from the municipality of Schönefeld and is open to all citizens and visitors as well as to all those who are interested in the municipality on the city limits to the federal capital. The app complements the municipality's website with an intuitive and easy-to-use pocket-sized application and enables a quick look at the latest news, local and regional events as well as direct access to services and information from the town hall and from cooperating third-party providers. With the help of the application, online appointments for the Citizens’ Registration Office can be booked with just a few clicks, the right day-care center or school can be found, and the next visit to a swimming pool or excursion can be planned.
The app currently offers the following services:
- clear weather service
- Current news from the town hall and the region, including regional media
- Information on events in the municipality and the Tourism-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH (TMB)
- Online appointment booking for the Citizens Registration Office
- Access to online services of the town hall
- Overview of leisure activities for young and old, clubs and interest groups
- Overview of all day-care centers and schools in the municipality of Schönefeld
- Contact and information about the fire brigades in the districts
- Information about the municipality of Schönefeld
- Quick access to emergency numbers, pharmacy emergency services and police
- Courses, opening times and ticket booking for the swimming pool "Schoenefelder Welle"
- Integration of other useful apps, such as the SBAZV waste calendar or the VBB route network and much more.
The current version is an entry-level model. Together with the users, the Schönefeld app should continue to grow in the future. In addition to the integration of the citizen and company service Brandenburg (BUS-BB), the development of further functions, such as a platform for digital citizen participation, is planned.
