Blattlust does more than help you save your plants. It shows you what is actually useful today, this week and throughout the season.

The app combines plant care, photo plant identification, journal entries, reminders, weather hints and a seed calendar in a clear, nature-inspired interface. Instead of confusing lists, you get concrete tasks, short warnings and practical everyday support.

With Blattlust you can:

- Add and edit plants
- Identify plants from a photo and use matching suggestions
- Create locations and organize plants by location
- Record care events in your journal
- Save notes, health ratings and photos
- See care tasks for today and the coming days
- Keep watering, fertilizing, repotting, pruning and health checks in view
- Use local reminders and notifications
- Mark tasks as done or postpone them
- Look up sowing, planting-out and harvest windows in the seed calendar
- Save custom seed entries and notes
- Optionally include weather rules for rain, heat and frost

Who is Blattlust for?

Blattlust is suitable for houseplants, balconies, patios, vegetables and herbs. Whether you are just starting out or already experienced, the app helps you not only document care, but plan it in a useful way.

Photo plant identification:

If you want, you can select a plant photo and get identification suggestions. Identification is optional and only starts when you actively use it. Normal care planning does not require photo identification.

Privacy and transparency:

- Your plant, location, journal and reminder data stays local on your device
- No ads
- No in-app purchases
- No user account
- No automatic image analysis

If you enable the weather feature, Blattlust can optionally use a saved place or your location to calculate suitable weather information and warnings for rain, heat and frost.

If you use plant identification, only the selected image is sent to Pl@ntNet for that request so identification suggestions can be returned.

Blattlust brings plant care, photo identification, seasonal planning, weather hints and reminders into a calm, clear flow so you can see faster what really needs to be done.
