About this app

The new My BMW App is the successor to the BMW Connected app and has a new modern design with intuitive and simplified user guidance.
Thanks to the three menu tabs, you will always have access to all the relevant functions of the My BMW App:
- Vehicle: Versatile remote-control functions and all important status information about your BMW at a glance, especially for electrified BMWs.
- Map: Search for and send destinations directly to the vehicle’s navigation system
- Profile: Personal settings and up-to-date information from BMW
CONTROL AND LOCATE YOUR BMW
The My BMW App shows you all the important information about your vehicle at a glance, such as the tank capacity and the current range of your BMW. For electrified vehicles, you can see the current electrical range and also the charge status. Are all windows and doors closed? Is your BMW ready to drive, are the tire pressure and oil level correct? Then the My BMW App will indicate “All Good”. Have you forgotten to lock the door? With the My BMW App, you can easily lock and unlock the doors or start the ventilation at any time. This allows you to conveniently control the most important functions from your smartphone. Do you no longer remember where you parked your BMW? The My BMW App knows exactly where your BMW is located.

PLAN YOUR NEXT TRIP
The integrated search function makes it easy to find destination and send them directly from the app to the vehicle’s navigation system. It is also possible to transfer destinations form third-party apps. The map in the My BMW App will show the current traffic situation. When driving with a BMW Plug-in Hybrid or a fully electric BMW vehicle, the electric range is also displayed so that you will know whether you will need to charge your vehicle battery.

The My BMW App will remind you a good time of the next service appointment. BMW Roadside assistance is also available via the app if you are having any problems with the vehicle. Download the My BMW app to make full use of the digital features of your BMW. All important information about you BMW can be accessed on your smartphone at any time and from anywhere.

The My BMW App is optimized for vehicles built from 2014 onwards. The availability of individual app function depends on your vehicle equipment and your ConnectedDrive contract.

What’s new

- Digital Key is also available for BMW OSX vehicles for eligible Samsung mobile devices for the first time.
- Remote Windows Control: BMW OSX users can manage the vehicle’s windows remotely through My BMW HK App. Open or close all windows at once, or control individual window(s) separately, with real-time status updates and operation feedback.
- Passenger Mode: BMW OSX vehicle passengers can easily manage media playback, climate settings, and reading lights directly from their own device.
