HyperDrop sends photos, videos, documents, contacts and text straight from phone to phone – between Android and iPhone, too. And anyone without HyperDrop simply downloads in the browser.
WHAT YOU CAN SEND
• Photos and videos in full quality – nothing gets downsized
• Files of any kind: PDF, Office documents, ZIP archives, music
• Contacts as a contact card – including your own card with a single tap
• Text and links
• Lots of files at once, to several devices
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open HyperDrop on both phones.
2. Pick photos, files, a contact or text.
3. Under “Devices found”, tap the recipient and then “Send”.
4. Tap “Accept” on the other phone – done.
IPHONE AND ANDROID
HyperDrop is available for Android and for iPhone. The two find each other automatically as soon as they’re on the same Wi‑Fi – in both directions.
NO WI‑FI? NO PROBLEM
No shared Wi‑Fi, say on the road or at a hotel? Your Android phone opens its own small hotspot and shows a QR code. The other device scans it – and you can start swapping files. No mobile data needed.
NO APP? THE BROWSER IS ENOUGH
In the “Browser/QR” section you can share files with any device on the same Wi‑Fi – a computer, too. The other person scans the QR code or types in the address, downloads your files and can send you some back.
YOU DECIDE
Every transfer has to be accepted first. Progress and cancel on both sides; files that have already arrived are kept.
ENCRYPTED, NO ACCOUNT
Between phones, files travel encrypted directly from device to device – never through a third-party server. No sign-up, no account, no password.
EVERYTHING AT A GLANCE
If you like, received photos and videos go straight to your gallery, everything else to Downloads/HyperDrop. The history shows what went to whom and when – with an overview by file type.
SHARE FROM ANY APP
In your gallery, file manager or any other app, tap “Share” and choose HyperDrop.
Free and ad-free. In 12 languages. Light or dark.
