About this app

MatBuddy is administration and member retention software in one: for martial arts clubs and schools, and for parents and members who want to keep track of their training.

IMPORTANT: To use it, you need access to a club that uses MatBuddy. You cannot register here without an invitation or access code from your club.

FOR MEMBERS AND PARENTS

• Attendance: Check in for training — via QR code at the entrance or with location verification, if the club allows it.

• Classes: Training times, cancellations, and holidays at a glance.

• Exams: Upcoming belt exams, requirements, and results.

• Messages: Direct line to instructors and the club, also via voice message.

• Multiple children: All children in one account, each with their own training progress.

• Fees: View invoices, set payment methods, and manage mandates.

• Notifications: Receive last-minute cancellations before you're in the car.

FOR CLUBS AND SCHOOLS

• Member management including families, contracts, and cancellation periods.

• Membership fee processing with SEPA direct debit, invoices, and dunning.

• Course and training planning, attendance lists, and evaluations.

• Examination regulations, belt ranks, and examination management for each sport.

• Group messaging without maintaining mailing lists.

• Reports for membership surveys and association notifications.

DATA PROTECTION
Your club is responsible for your membership data; we operate the software on its behalf. The servers are located in Germany. There is no advertising, no tracking, and no resale of data.

Location is only requested during check-in, is used solely for distance verification, and is not stored. The camera is used for QR codes and self-selected photos, and the microphone for voice messages. Permission is only requested upon first use.
