Enter what you have at home — by text or voice. The AI creates complete recipes with an ingredient list, quantities, and step-by-step instructions. Adjust the servings and the ingredients scale automatically.

I often cook the same meals and wanted an easy way to try something new now and then — that's why I made CookGen.

Daily changing recipe suggestions, categories like "Quick," "Pasta," or "Chinese," and a search covering over 300 curated recipes. Plus 32 spice blends you can mix yourself — with no additives.
📅 PLAN & SHOP
Put together your meal plan for up to 14 days ahead and check off what you've already eaten. The shopping list collects all ingredients from your plan or individual recipes and sorts them by supermarket category — with voice input and export to share.
📔 TRACK WHAT YOU EAT
The food diary keeps track of calories and macronutrients: log foods by search, barcode scan, or manual entry, set your own daily goal, and follow your progress over time. A calorie calculator (basal metabolic rate) and weight tracking are built in. Your diary entries and profile data are stored locally on your device — including backup & restore as a file.

Our server in Germany only receives what a feature currently needs, plus crash reports; AI requests are processed by Google Gemini, also in the USA. A random device identifier is used for fair usage limits and the Premium check via RevenueCat (USA). The barcode scanner (after consent) and purchases send technical data to Google. Occasional labeled affiliate links. Full details in the privacy policy.
