bio:cap – the new international Investival for innovators and investors in life sciences and artificial intelligence
Meet the world halfway between North America and Asia – in Berlin!
From June 9–11, 2026, Germany’s capital will become a central hub for life sciences in Europe and across the globe. From biotech and TechBio to diagnostics and artificial intelligence – this is where bold scientific and industrial innovation meets capital and politics.
bio:cap is hosted by Messe Berlin in cooperation with leading institutions in science and medicine. Held under the patronage of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH), and supported by the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI), the event breaks traditional boundaries and creates a new platform for interdisciplinary exchange.
The goal: to connect investors, start-ups, and top life science innovators with the global pharma industry, leading AI pioneers, and political stakeholders. Together, they will discover groundbreaking ideas, invest in high-potential ventures, and help shape the societal and political framework for the life science and innovation landscape of tomorrow. Because while Europe excels in cutting-edge research, it still has untapped potential when it comes to translating discoveries into market success and scalable growth.
