This app is a good companion for sailing beginners, but also for advanced sailors as a refresher of their knowledge!
This app has two categories:
-> Under Sail covers five areas:
- the courses to the wind
- the most famous maneuvers with commands
- the avoidance rules among sailing boats
- Position lights under sailboats
- Mandatory signs (inland shipping)
-> Under Engine it covers five areas:
- the avoidance rules for motorboats
- Commercial ships at night
- Day and night signals
- Bridges & weirs
- Locks and their signals
... with a small weather area and you can put your knowledge to the test by completing four different quizzes!
