About this app

As the name suggests, this app focuses on recurring expenses like rent, insurance, subscriptions, and other regular payments. Built with Kotlin Multiplatform and Material You design principles, it provides a simple yet powerful way to track and visualize your recurring financial commitments. The app is designed to be intuitive and straightforward, helping you understand exactly where your money goes each month. My idea is to add new features iteratively, and I'm happy for any contribution. Feel free to make feature requests or report bugs if you find any.

The app is great and does exactly what it says it does. It's very simple and runs very well. I do wish there were a few features, though. Tags to group purchases, payment methods to have a glance at what accounts have what/how many subscriptions, csv export, amoled mode, compact mode. Don't let my wishlist dissuade you though! If you need a simple tracker that isn't bloated with unnecessary nonsense then this one is perfect.

Hi Christopher, thanks a lot for all your feedback. Most of the features you've mentioned are already on my list. Checkout the GitHub Issues page for more details on features requested. With the latest update 0.17.0 the expenses should be a bit more compact and you can always use the grid mode on the top right to get an even more compact mode.

Everything is perfect. Please just add amoled pitch black mode too.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've added a new AMOLED theme in the upcoming app version, which should be available shortly.

Thank you so much for this amazing app. Can you please implement auto backup daily/weekly instead of manual backup? Also, a black (AMOLED) theme and an option to sort subscriptions alphabetically on the home screen would be awesome. Thank you once again for your hard work!!

Thanks for the review. Indeed that's a good idea and there's already a feature request created for it. I'm planning to tackle it in the future: https://github.com/DennisBauer/RecurringExpenseTracker/issues/44. Feel free to create further feature requests directly in Github. Alternatively I'll add them there myself.
