The mobile mTAN procedure (mobile/SMS TAN) is prohibited by law in the app. mTAN can only be used on the mobile device if you carry out a transaction requiring a TAN (e.g. a bank transfer) using a device other than the mobile device on which you would like to receive the mTAN (SMS). We therefore recommend activating the appTAN procedure in our app for transaction approval.
All online account types from Degussa Bank are supported. An account with Degussa Bank that has been activated for online banking is required to use the app.

- Microphone access: for in-app calling of advisors in the digital bank shop
- Permission to query the phone status: for the delivery of the appTAN via a push message to your device, the app requires access to the management of calls
Our internet banking uses secure HTTPS to establish the connection. You protect the app with a password or alternatively you can use your fingerprint or face recognition for authentication.
When setting up the app, you have to enter your customer number, your PIN and your complete date of birth once. When logging in, a TAN release is required every 90 days in accordance with PSD2 guidelines.
