The app for the dog handler license of the BHV enables the successful practice of the theoretical exam.

The functionality of the flashcards app is based on Leitner's proven learning system, which sorts questions into one of five subjects depending on the learning progress. Trained questions are sorted one tray at a time until all questions have been successfully learned. In addition to the learning function, there is also the possibility to create an individual learning program with content and fixed learning times and to check the learning success with the aid of detailed statistics.

220 questions in 5 different categories train you in dog related topics:

• Legislation on handling dogs,
  
• requirements for dog ownership, taking into account the Animal Welfare Act,
  
• education and training of dogs,
  
• Dog social behavior and breed-specific characteristics of dogs,
  
• Detecting and assessing dangerous situations with dogs.
  
  The theoretical exam is part of the dog handler license, which is recognized as proof of competence in some federal states and can lead to benefits and facilities for the keeper.
  
  The dog handler license serves to give the holder the opportunity to document that he has his dog safely in everyday life under control and does not endanger other people or dogs.
