About this app

The "Great Book of Hours" in authentic form, in addition to the liturgical readings of the day.
So far, praying the book of hours without instruction and practicing was hardly possible because you had to search the texts according to certain rules in the books. The app now makes praying very easy: all the texts for the day are put together, including repetitions. One can tune into the ancient prayer treasures of the church without any prior knowledge. The innovative one-finger operation makes a pleasant and discreet prayer possible without manual scrolling. All texts are loaded for ten days in advance, so that you can use the app afterwards without an internet connection (for example when traveling). The built-in "bell tower" calls for prayer on a daily basis via a reminder function.

Official publication: Cooperation of the Catholic Press Association e.V. with the German Liturgical Institute.

Does what it claims to do. Not more. You cannot select and copy text. Maybe for copyright reasons. And a minor issue I really don't understand: For years there has been a '\n' instead of a line break in the repeating verse of the daily Psalm. I haven't reported it because it's so obvious I didn't think it needs to be pointed out. But here I go. Thanks anyways. It's free and a blessing.
