About this app

The WebWeaver® app enables members of a WebWeaver® platform to use the messenger, the personal mailbox, the file management, the calendar and the "Notifications" function on smartphones and tablets from Android 8. To log in to the app, the platform's known access data (user name and password) are required.

Messenger:

- Send, receive and forward text messages, photos, videos, any files and voice messages to contacts, classes, courses or groups. Save received files in the platform's file repositories. Share files from other apps with others via Messenger.

- Add members of the platform to the personal messenger and remove them from the messenger.

E-mail:

- Read emails in your personal mailbox, write emails, address emails to other members via personal messenger contacts, member lists and address books, manage emails, create and manage folders in your mailbox.

File management:

- Upload files to and from the platform, save files on the device or open them in other apps, move and copy files, view versions of a file, save files from other apps on the platform (share menu), send files directly in the app's messenger or via email, create folders and manage folders and files, add folders to the "Favorites" view, view and edit access rights for folders (upload/download), view and copy links to folders and files.

- Choice between single-column and multi-column folder view.

Calendar:

- Access appointments in all calendars available for the logged in account in different calendar views (day, week, month, list), edit existing appointments and create new appointments.

Messages:

- Chronological overview of all messages from the various work areas of the platform for the currently logged in account.
- Create new messages (including color information and optional deletion time) as well as edit and delete existing messages depending on the permissions.
- All existing notifications and all notifications per workspace can be filtered using a search.

- Create and manage direct links to platform functions.

Also: direct access to the platform in the standard browser, direct access to the pinboard, optional dark mode / dark mode, optional access protection through fingerprint or facial recognition (device dependent), push notifications for all accounts saved in the app, selection of events for push notifications, direct switching between several saved accounts (on personal devices).

What’s new

Der neue Menüpunkt Kalender bietet eine Gesamtsicht aller Termine des eingeloggten Accounts in verschiedenen Kalenderansichten (Tag, Woche, Liste etc.). Nutzerinnen und Nutzer können vorhandene Termine verwalten und neue Termine anlegen. In der Listenansicht kann nach Terminen gesucht werden (Titel, Beschreibung). Für die verschiedenen Kalender lassen sich individuelle Farben definieren, die zwischen den Apps synchronisiert werden, wenn die App auf verschiedenen Geräten genutzt wird.
