The DLR MovingLab app is used in the context of social-scientific transport research to collect individual mobility data on a smartphone. With the help of the motion sensors of commercially available smartphones, distances covered are recorded, the means of transport used are automatically recognized and specific questions about the means of transport and mobility are asked. The DLR MovingLab is currently a technical infrastructure that is still being revised. Feedback from users is urgently needed for this.
