Works great with my Samsung S4 mini and my Nikon D750 - a perfect replacement for that infrared remote control Nikon sells separately. Like that Nikon remote, it doesn't do much - it just acts as another release button (i.e., focus and shoot) that I don't need to touch the camera for (i.e. reduce camera shake). Just make sure to enable "IR remote mode" in the camera's "shooting" menu.
I have a Samsung S6 and have trued quite a few DSLR remotes using the IR blaster. This by far is the best i have found, both in terms of features and usability. It is also light on resources which is great. Just one thing on the wishlist: the app doesn't support windowed mode. With nougat supporting multiple screens, adding the windowed mode would make life better. One browse through music or surf the internet while the camera does its job
Awesome nikon d7100 Lost my remote a few weeks ago and haven't gotten around to buying a new one. That's when I decided to Google camera apps and I'm really glad I did. This app works extremely well on my d7100. Very easy to set up and also has what I believe to be a longer range than my original remote. I also think it is more consistent. Also you don't have to worry about buying those stupid little round batteries that don't seem to last long. Every time I went for my remote the battery was always dead. Great app thanks!!!
Works fine with my D610 and Galaxy S4. Whilst the UI is a little lack luster this gets the job done. With line of sight I got a couple of meters away without a problem (probably could have got further but I was indoors). A handy little app for when I don't have my remote handy.
(i give 5Star for this apps) Who's the Developer of this Badboy apps? if she's a girl i want to Marry her.. this what you call a real free apps. it totally awesome apps i can actually control my Canon eos 60D with this badboy at my samsung galaxy note 3 in a 15meters in range well maybe 20m, well i'm not good in distance lol... but dudes thank again.
Awesome application! Does exactly what you need without any extra feature bloat. A note for people with LG G4s, or perhaps other LG devices. When I launch the app I get an error that QuickSetSDK is not installed - however the program still works perfectly, make sure your camera is set to remote mode (or equivalent).
