The WarnWetter App offers the following functions (in the free version):
• Current warning situation for Germany down to municipal level
• Favorites function for on-site (GPS required) and selected locations
• detailed information on the warning situation

For a one-time fee (in-app purchase) the WarnWetter App can be expanded to a full version including the following functions:
• Map function to display the current weather situation and a forecast up to 7 days in advance.
• Precipitation differentiated into rain, snow, sleet and hail (radar, model forecasts).
• Clouds (satellite data, model forecasts).
• Lightning (lightning location, forecasts).
• Wind (model forecasts).
• Temperatures (model forecasts).
• Seamless time control from past to future
• Combination of weather elements (precipitation, clouds, temperature, wind...) possible
• additional measured data and forecasts from weather stations and other points (weather conditions, temperature, wind, precipitation)

Ratings and reviews

Fantastic weather app with detailed information. It comes with nice widgets that have lots of customisation options. It contains no ads or forwards you to a website for detailed informations; for that the small price is well worth it!

Most accurate weather app in germany. It's unfortunate that some of the best features are locked behind a pay wall, though but much that can be done about that. It would be wonderful, if it was possible to deactivate the location heading in the widgets. I use both the day forecast as well as the 5-day forecast, and the heading is duplicated then. (I'd be happy to open a pull request, though I couldn't find the code anywhere)

One of the better weather apps for Germany. if anything, I'd love to have a cloud/rain radar more prominently displayed
