This app unfortunately doesn't sync automatically, regardless of the option selected, therefore you never get notifications about new messages, you need to open the app and manually refresh it to check. I have already responded late to business emails because of this issue. It's hard to believe that this most basic feature would not work.

Nice to have direct app to my domain. Very sluggish when syncing, however. I have selected push notifications, but I never get any. I get notifications only when a sync has taken place between my phone client and the Ionos servers. I am using the BUSINESS upgrade that supposedly gives real-time mobile sync, but im not seeing it. Disappointed. After the security update of March 1, 2021, I've had to reinstall this app almost every time I want to use it. Constantly crashes. Unusable.

Sehr geehrte(r) 1&1 Nutzer(in), die Abstürze werden wahrscheinlich durch einen Fehler im Android System WebView verursacht. Bitte installieren Sie die neuste Version (89.0.4389.105) des "Android System WebView" und "Google Chrome" aus dem PlayStore. Nach dem Update der Komponente sollte Ihre 1&1 App wieder korrekt funktionieren. Ihr 1&1 Team

Since some weeks almost every 5th Email I am sending fails. And the worst part: the app almost does not tell you when that happens. There is only a tiny message showing whether sending has worked or not. I often do not even wait for that message and just move on doing other things, so I don't see the message, as I expect sending email to just work. Even more frustrating when the email isn't even saved in drafts, so I have to do everything all over again. Please consider adding pushes for this
