KLARa (Kaiserslautern Augmented Reality App) is an interactive, prototypically developed app that raises awareness of the value of supporting regional products.
The application combines Augmented Reality (AR) technology and storytelling to provide a fun content delivery experience.
Klara, the narrator, instructs the user to initiate the AR experience using the phone's built-in camera. Klara guides the user through a five-scene story about how a bread roll is made. In each scene, the user gets to know new characters who move around and talk to Klara.
