About this app

With the “Lighthouse & Buoy Simulation” app, you can simulate any light characteristic of lighthouses and buoys. This makes it ideal for all watersports enthusiasts (sailors, motorboaters), instructors, enthusiasts, and lighthouse fans.
During training, different types of lights can be simulated and demonstrated. This makes it ideal for both theoretical and practical training.
At least all lights listed in the “List of Lights” are supported. A wide range of examples are already included in the app. Additional examples can be created quickly and easily: lights and their characteristics can be entered directly into the app from the nautical chart.
You can easily integrate your own photos of lighthouses and have them simulated with the correct light characteristic. Fans and collectors of lighthouse photos can exchange their collections with one another.
The fundamentals section provides background knowledge on the different types of lights, characteristics, and buoy types. In a quiz, you can test how well you can identify lights yourself.
