GhostPing transforms your city into a playing field: One team hunts, one flees—outdoors, on foot, in real time. The runners remain invisible until GhostPing betrays them: At fixed intervals, their location is leaked to the hunters for a moment. Then the cat-and-mouse game begins anew.
HOW IT WORKS
• The host draws a game zone on the map and invites the crew via code or QR code.
• Runners hide in the zone—their location is ONLY shared at the time of the ping.
• Hunters see the pings on the map and tighten the noose.
• Capture is real: by approach and confirmation or QR scan.
• Whoever survives the timer escapes—otherwise, the Hunters win.
SIX GAME MODES
• Classic Hunt—the original.
• All Against One—one Runner against the entire lobby.
• VIP Mode—the Hunters only want one: Protect the VIP.
• Zombie Mode—captives switch sides.
• Battle Royale—the zone shrinks at intervals.
• Gold Rush—missions earn points, points earn victory.
MISSIONS & JOKER
In the middle of the escape, Runners receive missions: take a photo, solve a quiz, reach a location, or travel a distance. Those who deliver earn jokers—and these decide games: The Ghost Ping sends the Hunters to a fake location, the Dead Zone skips the next ping, and the Blackout makes you completely invisible for two intervals. The Hunters also have aces up their sleeves: live tracking, compass bearing, and zone shrinking.
FOR HOSTS & SPECTATORS
In the web dashboard (ghostping.de), you create games, assign roles, and follow the round live on the map—perfect for moderating or casting.
FAIR & PRIVATE
• Location data is only processed during ongoing game rounds
• Your position only leaves the server at the time of the ping
• No tracking, no advertising, no data sharing
SAFETY FIRST
GhostPing is played in real life: Only enter publicly accessible places, respect traffic laws, and be considerate of uninvolved persons. The panic button immediately pauses any game—emergency calls always take priority.
