AudioTool is a streamlined voice recorder for Android—offline, ad-free, and subscription-free. Record quickly, trim directly, and organize neatly. Everything stays on your device.

▌ RECORD

Start recording with a single tap. Pause and resume whenever you want. An animated waveform shows you live that everything is being recorded. Recordings continue securely in the background, even when you switch apps—a discreet notification keeps you informed.

▌ DIRECT PLAYBACK

Tap a recording and it opens—with a built-in player, progress bar, and rewind/fast forward. No switching to another app, no extra clicks. Rename, share, or delete recordings directly from the list.

▌ TRIM WITHOUT LOSS OF QUALITY

Did the beginning or end go astray? No problem. AudioTool trims your recordings cleanly—losslessly and lightning-fast, without any re-encoding. With two Lime sliders on a waveform preview, you select the start and end points. Fine-tune with plus/minus buttons in 0.1-second increments. Preview directly on the editing screen. Save as a copy or replace the original.

▌ CATEGORIES AND SEARCH

Create your own categories—with names and colors of your choice. Assign each recording to a category, filter the list, and find it quickly. The built-in search searches recording names and categories. Optionally, choose a default category that will be automatically assigned to new recordings.

▌ HOMESCREEN WIDGET

Quickly record directly from the home screen—one tap and you're ready to go. During recording, the widget displays the live timer, stop, and pause buttons. Three background styles to choose from: full dark, semi-transparent, or transparent. Adapts to your wallpaper.

▌ SETTINGS THAT MATTER

Three recording qualities: Low (for long voice memos), Standard (recommended), or High (for interviews and musical sketches). Instant recording toggle on app launch. Overview of the number and storage space of all recordings.

▌ YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU

No cloud. No registration. No account. Recordings are saved in the public music folder (Music/AudioTool) and are always visible there—even outside the app, in any file manager and music player.
